Join us just before Sunrise? and allow a gentle breath focused meditation before we open our eyes and set our gaze upon the rising sun! There is an amazing but safe window of time where one can stare directly at the sun without negative effects. With safe and confident guidance, Grey Rabbit(me), will usher in source energy into your being though the windows of your soul and flow into your blissful being!
You are lovingly invited to join a gentle yoga flow to honor father sun before we settle in to meditate just before starting our sun gazing.
We will be honoring and thanking the sun with a few light rounds of Surya Namaskar, Sanskrit for Sun Salutations.
Surya Namaskar is prayer in motion in reverence for Surya (sun)/Lord Surya (the Hindu Sun God).
Sun Salutations are a bow to the sun.
We will face the east and activate our manipura (solar plexus-lustrous gem) raising solar energy within the body with Sun Salutations just before the sun rises as is Hindu tradition.
This will connect us to Surya and allow us to offer thanks for all Surya does for us as we prepare to sit down to have brother Denny lead us through meditation and sun gazing.
