LENS | Into the PORTAL | A Si Mullumby WORKSHOP

LENS is a non-confrontational collective voice opening experience combined with a full body sonic resonation / sound experience in the key of B flat.

Utilising voice, breath, free movement, vibe and a ton of creative license Si opens our capacity to hold life force energy & well-being. It’s time to get online with ourselves and to tap out from the outer world & let the timelessness reign.

This is about waking up our creative essence and allowing more life force in.

Let’s free our musical selves and open to our true creative potential.

What we grow in this workshop will expand into a collective experience at PORTAL. The same kinds of call and response, group voice and collective experiences will be present in PORTAL, each LENS participant being the seed of this collective experience at PORTAL.

This is about sowing seeds and getting the good vibes going!

The PORTAL will open Sunday November 2nd at the PORT BEACH BREWERY.

Si’s band Wild Marmalade is coming direct from the East Coast for this once-a-year event.

About Si Mullumby:
Mumby has the juice, because Mumby is the juice.
He is the fruit of decades of desert dwelling, pond hopping and meadow pumping. If Mullumby is in the meadow then the meadow is sweet. For Si Mullumby brings with him and as himself is a great shining light in a vast space where our beautiful marble finds itself.
One of the last Jedi Elders of drum and bass, his drums and didgeridoo take you to the club without leaving the pub, they take you to the rave without leaving the wave. Joy, the missing ingredient to the long slog of a week. He is the endless spring, the continuous flow of energy running miraculously through and beyond the modern maze.
When you witness him being himself and essentially chilling out, talking with the crowd you witness the sun rising over the mysterious Australian landscape. When you see him begin to sweat as he lifts the ship into 3rd gear you witness the opening of a long sand bar that stretches out into the ocean disappearing in sparkling reflections.
If you follow him out and witness him sending it on all cylinders with your body dripping and your blood pumping you witness a heart. A vulnerable open heart, pumping, light beaming from the holes it punches into the matrix.
This is the antidote to slavery. This is freedom that can not be stolen. This is powerful presence and vibration gifted unconditionally to you, to make what you will.
