Help celebrate the new clubrooms and changerooms at Len Shearer Reserve in Booragoon by coming along to the Community Open Day from 9.00am to 12noon on Sunday, 15 March.
There will be lots of fun family activities such as silent disco, photo booth, bouncy castle, water dunker, animal hoppers, inflatable ball pit and more.
Browse market stalls from City initiatives as MelSafe, LeisureFit, Libraries, Sustainability and Climate Action and Tunes for Tots.
There will be a scavenger hunt where people can collect information on specific questions to enter the draw for a major prize.
Fuel up with a sausage sizzle provided by Murdoch University Melville Football Club and goodies at the canteen run by Melville Roar Athletics and support these local clubs.
Enjoy coffee and ice cream from the onsite vans at this relaxed and fun outdoor event.
The City is grateful for the combined $1.4 million from the State Government for the clubrooms and changerooms through the Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund ($1.2 million) and the Legacy Grants for Women’s National Premier Clubs ($200,000).
