Lemonade Stand - The Business School for Kids, is back for the spring School Holidays!

As Seen On

Lemonade Stand is a one-day program for 9 to 12-year-olds aimed to equip children with the mindset required to succeed in a fast-moving 21st Century.

-

Instead of asking kids what they want to be when they grow up, perhaps we should ask them "what problem do you want to solve?"

-

In an exponentially changing world, our education system is doing what it can to maintain pace, relevance and impart the skills required to prosper in the 21st century.

However, technology and business model innovation moves much quicker than the school system is capable of responding.

As such, the very existence of jobs traditionally seen as ‘safe’ such as accounting is being questioned and today’s kids are facing an uncertain future in which they are likely to have several careers and up to 15 jobs.

Fundamental business skills will be absolutely imperative to success in the 21st Century.

-

Help your children learn the basics of business building and how to pitch their ideas.

This one day interactive workshop will introduce your kids to these principles in a fun and social way.

As part of the course work students will be introduced to building prototypes, websites and apps

Armed with this knowledge, they will be placed into groups and given the opportunity to pitch their own business ideas in front of an audience of parents and peers.

Parents and family are invited to attend the pitch session on the afternoon of the final session.

-

Lemonade Stand aims to empower your children to reach their potential and take advantage of the unique opportunities that today’s business and digital landscape presents.

Testimonials

"Thank-you for a fun, interactive & thought provoking 2 days. My son Conor had an absolute ball, & is brimming with ideas & enthusiasm! ... Well done guys, keep up the smiles & enthusiasm! You obviously love what you do & more importantly, the kids do too."

-Kristen, mother

"It's not boring school. We make websites and we learn businesses and stuff, however at school it's just maths and English. Everybody should get the chance to do this — it's epic."

-Maxim, student

"These pitches were better than most adults I've seen pitch!"

-Steve Baxter, former Shark Tank Australia judge and startup investor
