Lemon Pepper Poetry Slam presents the First & Final Slam

Over the past year, more than 50 writers, performers, artists, and wordsmiths from across the South have signed up for a Lemon Pepper Poetry Slam event with the same mission: to prove that they’re the best of the best. Now, only 10 poets remain in the ultimate showdown for the crown.

Both the FIRST poetry slam of the year and the FINAL poetry slam of the season, the First & Final Slam is the capstone of the 2024 Lemon Pepper Poetry Slam season. Poets are encouraged to bring their best works to this high-stakes, interactive face-off where the audience decides which poets will move on to represent Arkansas at the Southern Fried Poetry Slam this summer in Knoxville, TN. 

Complete with food, drinks, games, and more, it's a show unlike any other. Semi-formal attire is encouraged.
