Season 3 of Lemon Pepper Poetry Slam opens with one of our biggest celebrations yet: The Black Love Slam. Up to 10 writers and performers compete with poems about blackness, love, oppression, heartbreak, diversity, passion, and more in an interactive experience where YOU choose who wins the cash prize. Whether you show up solo, side-by-side, or searching for your next situation, this show has something for everybody, along with games, prizes, food, drinks, and more, hosted by the beautifully talented Aunt Gene. Doors open at 7 PM at The Space With Grace (8316 W Markham St, Little Rock, AR 72205). Tickets are $10 before February 28st; $15 the day of the show. (There is a $5 cover for competing poets.)
