About this Event
In this 2.5-hour class, you’ll be guided step by step through the techniques used by professional pastry chefs to make this iconic dessert entirely from scratch. From a crisp pâte sucrée to a smooth, tangy lemon cream and a light, glossy meringue, you’ll leave with the skills and confidence to recreate it at home.
This workshop is designed for beginners and enthusiasts alike — no prior experience required.
Inside the workshop
During the session, you will make your own lemon meringue tart while learning:
- How to prepare and handle pâte sucrée (sweet shortcrust pastry)
- How to make a smooth, well-balanced lemon cream
- The fundamentals of French meringue
- Piping and finishing techniques for a clean, elegant tart
- Tasting and/or take your pastries home
All techniques are explained step by step, with time to ask questions and understand why things work, not just how.

Meet your chef
I’m a French pastry chef trained in Paris, specialized in classic French pastries techniques.
I previously owned my own French pastry shop in Lisbon, where I had the chance to fully explore traditional French pastry, play with flavors, and introduce locals to both iconic classics and original creations.
Today, I focus on teaching and sharing this craft. Creating these workshops is a real pleasure for me, I love passing on professional techniques, seeing people gain confidence, and watching them enjoy the process of making beautiful pastries themselves.
This workshop is the first edition of a series of small-group classes I’m launching to share real professional methods in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Whether you’re a beginner or already baking at home, I’ll guide you step by step.
