CALLING ALL HOOPERS! ? ? The recent growth of 3v3 basketball across the country (and the globe) has given basketball players the opportunity and flexibility to not only schedule their own pick up games, but now play in 3v3 tournaments all over the country!
LEMO is extremely excited to announce that we are hosting our first ever 3v3 Legends Classic on March 12, 2023. What does this mean? If you are between the ages of 10-16 (boys & girls) get your hoop shoes ready! You will have the opportunity to compete in a high level 3v3 tournament against other basketball players in the Bay Area and beyond!
How did the LEMO 3V3 Legends Classic come to be? Two students from Sacred Heart Prep school, Hunter and Aneel, got in touch with LEMO through a common connection, and began to understand how LEMO impacts the community and those who do not have access to certain opportunities and resources. A message from Aneel and Hunter: "LEMO has fully embraced the two of us, and we have built connections with many of the amazing people who work at and attend the organization. We can see this firsthand at Sacred Heart with our own friends who have benefitted in sports and their own learning with the help of LEMO."
How can you participate/get involved? LEMO 3v3 Legends will serve as a fundraiser, with all proceeds going to the Championship Scholarship Fund for LEMO student athletes to participate in programming.
