L'Elisire d'Amore (The Elixir of Love), by G. Donizetti

Florida L'Opera & Zarzuela, with the support of Florida Grand Opera, presents L'Elisir d'amore.

A fully staged opera production with orchestra and choir under the music direction of conductor and choir master Dr. Jared Peroune, and the stage direction of Pablo Hernandez.

The plot of this comedic melodrama revolves around a privileged farm owner, Adina, and an illiterate peasant, Nemorino, who's failed attempts to win Adina's love drive him to fall prey to the fraudster doctor, Dulcamara.

While the doctor offers Nemorino with a magical elixir capable of winning Adina's heart, Belcore, a flamboyant soldier, also intends to win Adina's hand.

English and Spanish supertitles are provided.

Featuring Lucia Panizza as Adina, Herman Díaz as Nemorino, Jose Vasquez as Belcore, Alex Adams-Leytes as Dulcamara, and Roxana Triana as Giannetta.
