Introducing Leicester Fashion Week's 'LEICS SWAP': A chic fusion of style, sustainability, and socialising.
Join us for our clothing swap and social/networking event! to kick off four days of LFW March 2025: A chic fusion of style, sustainability, and socialising.
The event takes place in the Violin Room at Peter Pizzeria.
An evening where fashion enthusiasts come together to swap their pre-loved garments, indulge in delightful sips, and immerse themselves in the vibrant world of fashion.
This is the ideal occasion for you to leisurely browse through racks of clothing while enjoying your favourite beverage and find those perfect pieces that complement your style and size – all while tidying up your closet!

How it works:
To participate, visitors are required to bring up to five items to donate, which they can swap for up to five items. Surplus clothing from the event will be donated to local charity shops.
DROP - 4pm -7.30pm
Rolling drop and swap
You will be able to drop items from 5 pm until 7:30pm. We open the doors for drop only at 4pm, this gives us chance to populate the shop before we officially open the doors for swapping at 6pm.
Bring up to 5 items to trade for tokens. Items will be assessed by the Swap Shop Assistants on arrival and displayed on the rails. Once the items are traded for tokens they go straight onto the shop floor, so make sure you are 100% sure before you pass them over.
Sustainable Clothes Swap Guidelines:
- The event will be held on Thursday 20 March at Peter Pizzeria, with a Swap ‘n’ Sips happening from 6 pm – 8 pm
- The event will be run on a first come first served basis
- Participants should bring their own shopping bags: bags will not be available at the event
- There will be no changing rooms at the event and participants must not change in public
- To participate in the clothes swap participants must donate up to five items of clothing to the event.
- We cannot give you more than five swapping tokens
Items will be categorised into relevant tiers (1 token under £50, 2 tokens over £50) based on the type, brand, RRP and condition. This will dictate how many tokens you can use to shop for new items. 2 token items will have a yellow sticker assigned to them. This is a community driven swap where we accept items from high street up to high end.
- Only adult clothing will be accepted. *No Underwear/Swimwear/Worn shoes
- All clothes donations must be in clean and wearable condition – we have the right to refuse clothes not meeting these standards
- Participants are encouraged to wash their new items before wear
- Except as laid out above, no purchase or payment of any form is required for entry into the event, though extra clothes donations to a charity partner of our choice are greatly appreciated
- If you don't see anything you like, collect a tag and come along to a future LEICS SWAP to find something there that you'd like to swap: the clothes available are always changing.
