Leicester: Clay Workshop - crate your own trinket dish or tiles

Get hands-on and make your own trinket dish or set of tiles with Jannah Hasan from OttaPotta Studio for this pottery workshop.
Guided step-by-step, you will have the chance to get your hands dirty and learn how to craft a trinket dish or a set of four tiles from scratch.
Participants will be using air-dry clay to create and paint trinket dishes for keys or jewellery. Alternatively, you can make a set of four tiles guided by potter Jannah.
The session is perfect for beginners, and those who want to explore their creativity.
Workshop Content
* A brief introduction to pottery and using air-dry clay
* An introduction to the tools and materials used in pottery
* A short live demonstration by Jannah
* A guided session where participants will practise techniques to shape the clay and paint the finished piece

Artist biography:
Jannah Hasan is a pottery artist who hosts workshops across Leicester. She created OttaPotta Studio to help people to get their hands dirty while being more creative!
