Leicester Cathedral Choir Summer Concert: Rejoice in the Lamb
About this Event
Leicester Cathedral Choir presents a Summer Concert of choral music, accompanied by David Cowen on the Cathedral’s Harrison and Harrison organ and Steinway grand piano.
The programme includes Benjamin Britten’s festival cantata Rejoice in the Lamb, in the year of the fiftieth anniversary of the composer’s death, Mendelssohn’s Hear my prayer, including the famous solo O for the wings of a dove, and the Hallelujah chorus, from Handel’s Messiah.
All three top lines of the Cathedral Choir, Boys, Junior Girls and Senior Girls, will perform in this concert, alongside the Young Songmen, Choral Scholars and adult Songmen.

- General admission with added donation: £22.00 (This ticket is for general admission with an added £10 donation to help support the musical work and life of Leicester Cathedral. We are very grateful for your support. There is no difference between tickets, seating is on a first come, first serve basis.)
- General admission: £12.00
- Concession: £10.00 (Children and young people aged 3 – 16 years / Anyone in full-time education at school, college or university / Adults over the age of 65.)
