Get creative and make a Lego ships figurehead, join our Lego masters who will help you bring your creations to life.
Known as the ‘spirit of the ship’ for 100’s of years these huge carved wooden animal or people statues were displayed at the front of the Royal Navy’s ships guiding the sailors home. This drop-in activity is set in our amazing ships figurehead gallery so you will be surrounded by inspiration.
Grown ups are also welcome! There is also a chance for people to take part in our upcoming figurehead arts challenge competition where the winners will be on display in the gallery and will receive a prize. Drop in between 10.30am – 3.30pm
This event is free with a valid museum ticket.
