Localworks’ third-annual Legislative Lowdown is returning on Tuesday, February 11th with the new “hot topics” of the 2025 legislative session. Join Localworks and our Wheat Ridge community partners to learn about legislation that is slated in 2025 to affect labor, (including the labor peace act) air quality, (business permitting, how operations/projects affect local air quality, etc.) and the larger conversation surrounding the emancipated expenditure cuts in the overall state budget. Save the date and join us on Tuesday, February 11th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Clear Creek Makerspace. If you haven’t yet visited CCM, this will also be a great opportunity for you to see the space and understand the resources available to you as a community member and business owner. Beverages and food will be provided.
