Legislate This!

It's 2025 and politicians are working harder than ever to deny Americans basic human rights and access to healthcare.

Legislate This! is a benefit show featuring burlesque, circus, and drag performers putting our money where our mouth is! All cast, crew, and the venue are donating their time, talents, and space so that a portion of profits from this show can be donated directly to Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood has worked tirelessly for 90 years to provide necessary healthcare to all people. They provides STD and STI testing, reproductive care, birth control, and gender affirming healthcare to the people all across the USA. We are thrilled to be able to offer them some monetary support to aid in their efforts!

Legislate This! had it’s inaugural show in Austin, Texas in April of 2012. Since then, it has spread across Texas with productions in San Antonio, Houston, and Austin, as well as other areas of the United States including Georgia, California, Ohio, and now NEW ORLEANS! This production is an regular event which brings together various performing arts communities to show their support for Planned Parenthood. Proceeds from Legislate This! are donated directly to that show’s local PP chapter, or occasionally directly to an abortion fund.
