Dana Sorey…Gospel music Producer, Writer and Arranger. 3x Dove Award Winner. 3x ASCAP Songwriter Award Recipient. Multiple Stellar Award Winner. Dana has garnered several Grammy nominations for producing and co-writing with top gospel artists such as Tye Tribbett, Brian Courtney Wilson, Anthony Brown, Gene Moore and Marvin Sapp. Most recently, he participated as a co-producer for Adam Blackstone’s Grammy-nominated jazz album, “Legacy: The Instrumental Jawn”. Dana has held #1 positions for Top Gospel Billboard AirPlay Songs & Albums with artists such as Jason Nelson, Maranda Curtis, Brian Courtney Wilson and many more. In 2018, Dana received a Stellar award for Producer of the Year and was nominated in 2019 and 2022 for a Dove award for Producer of the Year. Dana is currently crafting new bodies of work with RCA-Inspirational Recording Artist Melvin Crispell, III; and with Jason Nelson (Live) and Maranda Curtis (Live) of Fair Trade Services. These projects are set to release in 2024.
Dana’s exclusive studio in Delaware is known as an oasis for creativity. C Bazz Entertainment’s capabilities include providing production, not only for records, but also commercially. Dana has also done Programming and Stage Coaching for Christian artists, such as Grammy Award-winning Christian Artist Francesca Battistelli, Love and the Outcome, and About a Mile, to mention a few. One of his proudest works includes R&B Boys II Men’s “Bounce, Shake, Move, Swing”, which was chosen to be the theme song for the first season of America’s Next Top Model.
Dana puts most of his energy into expanding his full-house production companies, C Bazz Entertainment and C Blake Studios. He is also passionate about educating the next generation of music creatives using his teaching platform, “StayHomeMoneyMovement,” and his latest non-profit, “Legends of the Song, Inc.” This non-profit venture will provide a forum for Dana and his professional peers to share their journeys to success and to help inspire the next generation of artists and producers.
