Once again we Celebrate Free Comic Book Day at Legends Comics ( the largest Comic Celebration of the Year) which happens on the first Saturday of May every year where participating comic book shops all around the world give away special Publisher-themed comic books free.

........Batman first appeared in May 1939, in issue 27 of Detective Comics along with Commissioner James W. Gordon and the story was only six pages of the 64pg comic .
........Robin (Dick Grayson), Batman’s sidekick and crime-fighting partner (making the Dynamic Duo a team), made his appearance in Detective Comics #38, in April, 1940.
.....The first Alfred, Alfred Beagle showed up in Batman #16 April-May 1943.

...Even though Batman has no superhuman powers, he has systematically worked on making himself the best that he can be, by developing his scientific knowledge, detective skills, and athletic prowess along with developing advanced technologies to modify and adapt in his Fight on Crime.
...His quick wit and multi-purpose adaptability give him a keen advantage in his relentless quest for Justice.
...Often in action scenes in comics when the crooks gang up on him, you will see POW, SMASH, BONK, BOFF, SPLAT to describe how he has to defend himself.
......Sometimes we are asked to describe The Batman.
So here are some of his qualities and descriptions:
Intelligent. Inventive. Unrelenting. Dark, Amazing, Symbol of Hope, Dedicated, Dependable, Determined, A hero for every generation
he's Legendary , made of the stuff that some kids dream about growing up to be.
As Batman often quotes, "It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me." This is his favorite lesson.
The Joker, also known as the Clown Prince of Crime, debuted as a fully developed villainous character who left a signature calling card at the scene of his crime taking credit for it. It was a JOKER playing card and that is how he got his name. The Joker idea came together from Bob Kane, Bill Finger, and Jerry Robinson. Detective Comics #168 holds the first Joker Origin story.
In a city overrun with larger-than-life criminals, the always-laughing villain stands alone. He is characterized by his chalk-white skin, green hair and usually wears a large grin.
As an agent of chaos, the Joker’s personality often shifts between goofy prankster and villain on a dime, making it impossible to predict his next move. It’s this unpredictability that really makes him such a dangerous opponent. The Joker has been known to covet Batman's gadgets when he often asks, "Where does he get all of the wonderful toys."
