Legato Memory Café welcomes people experiencing dementia or other cognitive changes and their care partners/loved ones. This monthly gathering fosters connection and support through social engagement while enjoying light refreshments and creative activities like music-making, painting, storytelling, and more. Legato Memory Café meets in Allesee Hall, located within The Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center.
Although participation is free, registration is encouraged. Parking and arrival instructions will be emailed to registered participants 48 hours in advance.
About Memory Cafés:
- Memory Cafés are community-based gatherings that provide safe, inclusive environments for people experiencing dementia or other cognitive changes, along with their care partners.
- Through storytelling, music, movement, visual art, and more, these spaces foster joy, reduce stigma, and help people feel seen and supported.
- They do not require a medical diagnosis to attend.
