Legacy Week 2024: Teach Me Thursday (Business U for Entrepreneurs)

As small business owners ourselves, we believe in fostering the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Richmond just like Maggie L. Walker before us. What was once considered Black Wall Street, the current historic Jackson Ward neighborhood is home to so many minority and women owned businesses - there are countless in the Greater Richmond area. Our hope is to provide the tools and resources businesses in all stages need to build, be successful, and thrive.

Teach Me Thursday partners with Virginia Asset Management to bring a mini-version of their “Business U” workshop to make comprehensive business planning accessible to all and at no cost.

Not only will business owners have a FREE full 5-hour day of learning with light breakfast and lunch provided for all participants, they will have access to a vendor fair of local and state resources.
