Beaver Complex Tour of Legacy ParkJoin us for a guided tour through the fascinating beaver complex at Legacy Park! This one-mile hike will take you through the woods to view five impressive beaver dams, which create vibrant wetland, pond, and stream habitats. These ecosystems support a healthy population of aquatic, terrestrial, and avian species, offering a unique opportunity to learn about the diverse wildlife at Legacy Park.
Along the way, we’ll also explore forest restoration efforts, including the removal of invasive exotic plants such as English Ivy, Bradford Pear, and privet, and the replanting of native trees and shrubs.
