Join us as we celebrate the fathers whose love, leadership, resilience, and legacy continue to shape families, strengthen communities, and inspire generations to come.
Legacy in Bloom, presented by Oshun Family Center in partnership with the African American Museum in Philadelphia, is a cultural activation honoring the beauty, strength, and impact of Black fatherhood. Through photography and storytelling, this exhibition highlights the journeys of fathers as caregivers, protectors, mentors, and advocates—creating a space where their voices, experiences, and contributions are seen, celebrated, and remembered.
Enjoy light refreshments, music, and meaningful conversation as you experience the exhibit. If you take time to read each father's story, the full experience is approximately 17 minutes.
Families and children are warmly welcomed—we encourage everyone to experience the exhibit together. If you're visiting with little ones who are just beginning to walk, we simply ask that you keep a close eye on them, as the gallery is intimate and the artwork is delicate.
