NC Legacy Fest to Celebrate Juneteenth, Father’s Day, and 30 Years of SPOT TV
Greensboro, NC – This summer, community, culture, and celebration will come together in a powerful way as NC Legacy Fest hosts its Annual Juneteenth and Father’s Day Celebration on Saturday, June 20th, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The event will also commemorate the 30th Anniversary of SPOT TV, marking three decades of community storytelling and media impact.
Presented by The Captains, NC Legacy Fest is designed as an all-ages celebration honoring freedom, family, and Black excellence. The event will feature:
• Over 100 vendors
• Games and fun areas for families
• Special guest performances
• Live DJs providing crowd control and entertainment
• Community partners and local organizations
The first 3,000 attendees will receive free or discounted admission with RSVP. The event address will be sent directly to ticket holders.
In addition to celebrating Juneteenth and Father’s Day, this year’s festival will highlight 30 years of SPOT TV’s service to the community — amplifying voices, covering local stories, and preserving cultural legacy through media.
“This is more than a festival — it’s a celebration of freedom, fatherhood, legacy, and the power of community,” said Troy Jones of SPOT TV. “For 30 years, SPOT TV has told the stories that matter. NC Legacy Fest is about honoring where we’ve been and building where we’re going.”
