For generations, Black families in Brooklyn have built something. Homes. Businesses. Houses of worship. Community. And for generations, systems have been designed to take it away.
On September 12, Citadel of Praise and Worship opens its doors for a community forum that is part education, part strategy, and part action. We are bringing together homeowners, faith leaders, small business owners, legal advisors, elected officials, and community organizations for an honest conversation about what it takes to protect Black property in New York City and what we can do together right now to change the conditions that put it at risk.
