After a decade-long hiatus, the Friends of the Capitol Park Museum are proud to announce the highly anticipated return of our signature event—the Legacy and Luminescence Gala—on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 7:00 to 11:00 PM at the stunning Capitol Park Museum in downtown Baton Rouge.

This elegant evening will celebrate Louisiana’s vibrant cultural heritage while honoring the individuals and stories that illuminate our path forward. Rooted in the gala’s theme—Legacy and Luminescence—the event will highlight the powerful connections between history, community, and progress.

Guests will enjoy an unforgettable night of live entertainment, curated culinary experiences from some of Baton Rouge’s top restaurants, specialty cocktails, and immersive cultural programming—all within the museum’s breathtaking galleries and event spaces.
