The FREE, ALL-AGES MAYFEST CELEBRATION in historic downtown Leesville, Louisiana promises something for everyone! BAD MOON RISING (BMR) performs ALL the sunny, sing-along, danceable, feel-good hits from CCR & John Fogerty. From "Down On The Corner", through "Lodi", into "Centerfield" and "Up Around the Bend", BMR has reflected on the soundtrack of people's lives since 2008. CCR's chart-topping "swamp rock" resonates with a multi-generational fan base that ranges from preschoolers & teens to parents, grandparents and literally every age group in between.
We are honored to have been selected as a nominee for 2023 "Tribute Artist of the Year" by the The Josie Music Awards, the largest music award show in the independent music industry.
ABOUT CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL:
A worldwide phenomenon from 1968 to 1972, CCR dominated the airwaves with their distinctive 'swamp rock' sound, fusing a unique blend of rock, swamp blues, R&B, pop, country, rockabilly, and folk. Till this day, CCR remains an iconic and in-demand band on streaming services and radio. CCR's philosophy was simple: 'Keep it short, keep it loud, and make sure the audience can dance to it.
