After a thriving five+ years (ignoring the impacts of Covid!) all things must come to an end, as the growth of our little monthly cafe evening has led us to moving onto pastures new.This is our final LGBT+ Coffee & Cake Cafe evening at Mill Hill Chapel.
From August we are expanding, rebranding and relaunching as the LGBT+ Wellbeing & Social Cafe hosted by Age UK Leeds (Bradbury Building, behind Sainsburys on Dortmund Square).
Our accessible LGBT+ affirmative family friendly space to meet others, play board games, enjoy cake and refreshments or joinng for a friendly chatter with attendees - will remain the same with the move, as we continue to have a dedicated space for this.
However, with the additional space provided at the new venue this enables us to increase our support & wellbeing aspect to the evening, and it's a pleasure to welcome TransLeeds, Phoenix Health & Wellbeing, Touchstone Support, Leeds Housing Options and Forward Leeds who'll all be available during the start of the evening.
Our Leeds Freedom Families drop in will also be expanding to be available throughout the evening, rather than prior to the event (as currently).
