The fourth annual Leeds Digital Charity Ball takes place on the 12th June 2025, at the Royal Armouries Museum.
The 2025 Leeds Digital Charity Ball will be hosted at The Royal Armouries, New Dock Hall, and will bring together over 500 members of the North’s Digital and Technology community.
Whether you want to make new connections or see old friends, we have everyone in the room, from CTOs and CDIOs to entry-level talent. This is your chance to build meaningful relationships and even do some business while raising money for Leeds Community Foundation.
Introduction
Digital exclusion continues to be a major issue, with people living in digital poverty increasingly left out in a world where everything has become digital-first. To bridge the divide, people need access to three key things: equipment, connectivity, and skills.
Collaboration is key. With a group of board members and supporters from across the Leeds region, we have come together to ignite the tech community through an annual charity ball, creating a powerhouse fighting a common goal: helping the disadvantaged, abolishing digital exclusion, and driving positive change.
Digital technology and the internet can transform lives by creating opportunities and providing support where it’s needed most. To tackle the underlying causes of digital exclusion, we have created the annual Leeds Digital Charity Ball to challenge the digital divide and raise funds so more people can develop skills and access the technology needed to live in a digital world.
Impact So Far
In total, we have raised £225,000 since 2021. Last year, the ball was a sellout event, raising over £65,000, which directly supports Leeds Community Foundation, small charities, and community organisations within the city to help local people.
With support from 100% Digital Leeds, Leeds Community Foundation funds projects that take various approaches to addressing the digital divide in our communities, from one-to-one and group digital skills sessions to training digital champions. From using art to teach digital skills to providing support for those who are deaf or hard of hearing, organisations are tailoring their work to meet their communities’ needs.
