Lee Bains + Lithium Kicks + Bedford Falls

In August 2026, as Trumpism grips his home country and looms large in the world, Alabama songwriter Lee Bains will embark on his first solo tour of the U.K. and Europe, carrying music that Rolling Stone once called "Southern gospel punk" and a message of defiance, solidarity, and hope.
A cult songwriter forged in independent scenes, his work has carried him all over the U.S. and Europe, has received acclaim from the likes of The New York Times, NPR and the Guardian, has allowed him to open for artists including the Alabama Shakes, Drive-By Truckers and John Moreland, and has led him to be a supporting musician for artists like Lonnie Holley, Moor Mother and Algiers.
This year will see Bains release a live solo album, Free South 2025, on Don Giovanni Records, and publish his debut poetry collection, Work Lunch, through Hub City Press.
Lithium Kicks present their debut digital double A-side single “I Want Something I Don’t Care About” and “Catch Me When I Fall.” Recorded at Newport’s Le Pub and on location in Cardiff, the tracks lap up punk rock anger with catchy power pop sensibilities to deliver a ferocious and impassioned assault on the senses.
The band hail from South Wales and feature Ginge (vocals), Michael (lead guitar), Darren (rhythm guitar), Jonny (bass) and Dave (drums). Single available from 1st February on Bandcamp and all major streaming services. Gigs to follow in spring 2026.
Bedford Falls, from South Wales (UK), has been blending the noisier elements of 80’s college rock (Hüsker Dü, Dinosaur Jr.) with the more energetic side of 90s indie rock (Superchunk, Jawbox, Swervedriver) and a touch of classic Power Pop (Big Star, Teenage Fanclub) for over 20 years.
