LED THERE BE LIGHT - Seminar for professional designers (in lighting, costume, scenography, etc.) at The Danish National School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen on June 18-19, 2024.Come and explore the wondrous world of LED technology as Wendy Luedtke (US), one of the industry's most knowledgeable lighting designers specializing in colored LED lighting, visits Copenhagen.
For the second year in a row, the Lighting Designers' Copyright Management (LOF) and The Danish National School of Performing Arts - Further Education are offering an intensive lighting seminar for professional designers (in lighting, costume, scenography, etc.)
The seminar is a unique opportunity to learn from one of the industry's most proficient experts. We will delve practically into color theory and advanced color control, and each morning, Luedtke will kick off with a keynote speech and examples of the many possibilities of light and color. The afternoons will feature hands-on exercises where you will work practically with advanced lighting equipment and some of the latest technologies in the field.

About Wendy Luedtke:
Wendy Luedtke has over 15 years of experience designing lighting for theater, live entertainment, and architectural projects. She has designed for and been associated with Covent Garden, the Rome Opera, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Village Voice Obie Awards, the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, and Oscar de la Renta, among others. She holds a BFA in Technical Production from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she has also worked as an adjunct instructor for over ten years. She is the co-chair of the Color Committee for the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) of North America.
