Everyone loves a gripping true crime story—but how much of what we see on TV actually happens at a real crime scene? Join forensic specialist and educator Jessica Liang for an unfiltered look at the real work behind the tape. No dramatic music or quick-cut edits—just the honest truth about processing scenes, uncovering evidence, and making sense of chaos.

Jessica is the owner and lead instructor of Finer Points Forensics and an IAI certified Senior Crime Scene Analyst. Since beginning her career in 2011 with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, she has handled more than 1,000 crime scene investigations, from burglaries to death investigations and officer-involved shootings. She specializes in crime scene photography, laboratory processing, latent print examination, and AFIS analysis, and has served as both a photography instructor and CSI field training officer.

With a B.A. in Anthropology from UCLA and a Master of Forensic Science from National University, Jessica is dedicated to bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world forensic practice.
