Professor Tecson is an adjunct English and film criticism professor at Queens College and CCNY, a working script doctor, and a film historian. She is best known for her award-winning autobiographical plays (The Fun Story, Welcome to Smalltown), her widely read blog about dating as an immigrant, and for combining a lifelong love of movies with rigorous research and sharp criticism.
