These and two more stories will illustrate the fascinating evolution of dentistry and its impact on history. Professor Spielman will explore how dentistry evolved—and how it shaped history along the way.
Professor Andrew Spielman has been a faculty member at NYU College of Dentistry for over three decades, where he teaches courses on the history of dentistry and medicine. A published author and former Associate Dean, he is recognized as a leading expert in the field and currently serves as President of the American Academy of the History of Dentistry.
