In this talk, we’ll explore 30 years of planet discoveries, detection methods, and how we’ve only scratched the surface of planet demographics in our galaxy. Dr. Niall Whiteford completed his PhD at the University of Edinburgh before joining the BDNYC (Brown Dwarfs New York City) group at AMNH. His research focuses on the new JWST data of exoplanets, examining their chemistry, clouds, and formation processes. He’s also passionate about detecting life beyond our solar system and engaging in public outreach.
