Lecture Series | Henry Koertzen
Join Henry Koertzen, President of the San Joaquin Audubon Society (established in 1941), for an engaging look at the birds that call our region home, and how you can be part of protecting them.
Discover the story behind the local Audubon chapter, explore some of the best birdwatching spots in the county, and learn how birdlife changes with the seasons. Henry will also share how the society brings the community together through monthly programs, weekly bird walks, and exciting new initiatives, like introducing schoolchildren to birdwatching and installing nest boxes to support local habitats.
Whether you are a seasoned birder or simply curious about the natural world around you, this talk will leave you seeing your surroundings in a whole new way.
