Anthony Kinsella will lecture on the British Army Operations in Ireland in 1922 to 1924
About this Event

Tony is a long serving council member of the Military History Society of Ireland and its Honorary Records Secretary. In his spare time, he works as a volunteer in Military Archives and is also a frequent visitor to the UK National Archives in Kew. The Society has benefitted enormously from his research both in the written word in the pages of the Irish Sword and in lectures. He is particularly expert on the Irish War of Independence and Civil War period. The proceedings of the Society’s first conference on the Civil War held on 11 September 1997 were published in Irish Sword number 82 and contained three papers by Tony – on the British Evacuation, on the Belleek/Pettigo Triangle, and on the Special Infantry Corps.

MHSI lectures are open to members and non-members alike. All are welcome.
