About this Event
In this lecture, we will take you on an in-depth journey into Ikenobo Ikebana, the oldest school of Japanese flower arrangement. You will learn about the origins of Ikenobo, understand how this art form was established and developed over centuries, and explore the various styles of Ikenobo Ikebana that have emerged throughout its history. We will also discuss the possibilities of Ikenobo Ikebana in today's cross-cultural context.
The lecture will conclude with a live demonstration by Kevin Ge from 7s Art, where he will showcase the techniques and principles that make Ikenobo unique, followed by an open Q&A session.
