Lecture and Book Signing with Urban Sketcher and Author Stephanie Bower

We’re excited to announce The World of Urban Sketching book signing with globetrotting architectural illustrator, urban sketcher, and author Stephanie Bower on June 10th at CCA's Blattner Hall, Presented by SF Sketchers, California College of the Arts Architecture Division, and ARCH Supplies. Stephanie will start the day at 10AM diving deep into the book with a lecture and presentation, followed by the book signing, and there's even a group sketchwalk beginning at 1:30PM at St. Gregory's Church.

Spanning almost 40 countries, The World of Urban Sketching takes you across the globe with sketches and paintings done by more than 150 of the world's finest urban sketchers. With over 700 pieces of previously unpublished art, invaluable instructional techniques, advice from artists living through a global pandemic, and various creative insights - this book is packed with interesting material sure to inspire anyone to pick up a pencil. ARCH Supplies has copies of the book in-store now and will have stock available at the lecture.

About the Author:

Along with her background as an architect, Stephanie Bower is an award-winning architectural illustrator, concept designer, instructor, and author of several instructional urban sketching books including The Urban Sketching Handbook 101: Sketching Tips and The Urban Sketching Handbook: Understanding Perspective.
