Learn Simon’s signature raqs sharqi technique, elegant, playful and intricate, in a choreography set to Toubi Toubi sung by famous Lebanese singer Sabah. Open level

Ready to level up your dabke skills? Learn challenging technique from the master who has performed with and led dabke troupes in Lebanon and USA. Suitable for those who take the dabke pop workshop or have other dabke training / experience

Simon Bio
Lebanese Simon (Simon Sako) is a renowned international dancer, instructor, and choreographer specializing in Lebanese Folk Dabke and Raqs Sharqi (belly dance). Born in Northern Lebanon, he is celebrated for his strong, emotional, and authentic performance style, serving as artistic director of the Al Awtar Entertainment Group.
A firm favourite with UK dancers, Simon brings warmth, humour and a contagious sassiness to his workshops. He comes to us fresh from teaching at some of the biggest festivals in the US including Bellydancer USA and New York Bellydance Festival, and has taught annually at the Nile festival in Egypt as well as in Europe and Canada.
Whatever your level, your dance and performance skills will be refined as a result of studying with him.
