Are you and your family prepared for a natural disaster? Would you like to learn more about gardening and food preservation? Spend the day learning all you need to know to be more self reliant in your every day life or an emergency situation. This year we are offering 6 totally NEW classes and welcome 14 NEW vendors to our event! We believe in being prepared in all things and have a passion for sharing that with our community. This event is focused on public education to empower our citizens. Be sure to check out as many of the classes as possible throughout the day, as well as stop in with the American Red Cross. They accept appointments or same day walk-ins.
All ages are welcome at this totally FREE event. Children will especially enjoy a hands on experience with Leavenworth’s emergency vehicles including a fire truck, sheriff’s car, bomb squad vehicle, and more!
