Xochitl Martinez is a descendant of the Mescalero Apache people, the Sonora Yaqui and the Zapotec people as well as Spanish Mexican colonizers from the late 1700’s in California. She grew up in The Mission district of SF as well as in Mexico City.
Xochitl is a female identified two spirit person and is a moccasin maker and leather arts craftsperson, a martial artist and teacher for over 40 years experience as well as a retired professional building contractor. Xochitl is also the outreach coordinator for Compassionate Veterans, a non profit org that serves veterans with peer support. Xochitl has many years experience as a farmer also. Love is louder!
