Leather Carving Christmas Ornament

Learn Western-stye leather carving and make your own Christmas ornament.

In the first part of the class, you'll use seven leather working tools to learn the process of carving, tooling, shading, and creating depth in your leather. After that, you will choose an ornament shape of choice and create your own ornament.

Dyeing is optional. If walnuts are available to harvest, we will use black walnut dye from the Hagood Mill trees.

The cost of this class is $75 + $20 due to the instructor on the day of the class. The class will be from 10 am to 4 pm. Please arrive at 9:45 am to sign waivers. There will be a 30–45-minute lunch break. Lunch is not provided.
