Join professional flutist Rustam Baibikov for a short series of musical listening workshops designed to help participants understand and feel classical music — not just hear it.

Not a traditional lecture nor concert, each session is a unique, immersive experience that combines:
– curated classical & ballet music recordings,
– live flute moments,
– storytelling & cultural context,
– visual elements (artwork & imagery).

Every session presents a different story, theme, and musical world — creating an ongoing journey rather than a repeated format.

The repertoire includes well-known works such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Children’s Album by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, as well as Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev, helping audiences connect with familiar and beloved musical narratives.

Participants are guided step-by-step into deeper listening, developing a more emotional and imaginative connection to the music.

Those who choose can engage in interactive elements such as:
– body percussion
– simple movement and dance elements
– playing small percussion instruments
– music games and guided listening activities

About Rustam Baibikov

Flutist Rustam Baibikov was born in Ukraine, educated in Russia (classical conservatory in Moscow), and is rooted in Tatar culture.

Having performed in symphony orchestras & chamber ensembles as well as having led a Tatar folk band for many years including over 700 concerts for children, he is known for "connecting heart to heart" through music and storytelling. In 2020, he moved to the U.S where he found a deep connection with open-hearted audiences. Every performance is a conversation, a moment of shared presence through sound.

• 5-Part Series: $75 "Early Bird" Ticket or $165 "Regular" Ticket (both tickets include all 5-classes)
• Individual classes are not available.
• Advance registration required. Drop-in attendance is not available.
