About this Event
Do you want to connect with other stakeholders who share your environmental concerns? Are you curious to learn the Top 5 most commonly abandoned items in Amsterdam’s waterways and discover key statistics on the city's plastic pollution problem? If your answer is yes, don’t miss the opportunity to join our workshop!
In collaboration with the Municipality of Amsterdam, Wageningen University, and other partners, AMS Institute is running the project "Solving the Urban Plastic Soup." As part of this initiative, three plastic capture devices have been installed at various locations in Amsterdam’s waterways.
AMS is hosting this workshop to enhance the impact of these devices and, more importantly, to engage citizens and local stakeholders in the fight against plastic pollution.
Representatives from AMS, Wageningen University, Amsterdam Municipality, local citizens, and stakeholders from areas where the devices are installed will attend.
Join us on a scientific and creative journey as we collaboratively develop innovative solutions for Amsterdam, guided by experts in plastic pollution.
Bring your positive energy and enthusiasm—no prior knowledge is required! The best solutions come from simple thinking, which you already have!
Drinks and snacks will be provided as food for thought during the workshop.
