We are so excited for April's much anticipated Nature Learning Adventure!
We will visit the Nina Mason Pulliam Rio Salado Audubon Center for an educational Nature in Your Neighborhood field trip covering 3 modules:
Nature Outing – Students learn how to use binoculars and practice observation skills to find evidence of wildlife around the center. Depending on the time of year and group, this may include a longer walk.
Mammals of Arizona – Students explore mammal pelts and skulls to learn how teeth and eye placement help identify diet and habits.
Bird Beak Adaptation Investigation – Using tools and supplies, students learn how beak shapes relate to diet and how animals adapt to their environment to thrive.
Afterwards our group is invited to stay for lunch and use the picnic tables, which are located under a ramada for shade.
Price is per STUDENT aged 3 and over.
