Learn West African Djembe Drumming with Hamisi Lee

Come join us for an exciting drumming event led by the talented Hamisi Lee from Tam Tam Mandingue Djembe Academy!
About this Event

Learn to play the djembe as part of a percussive orchestra!

Detroit's own Hamisi Lee is excited to present a special lesson in Ferndale to do just that.

Hamisi is a Tam Tam Mandingue Djembe Academy Certified Instructor and has studied with Mamady Keïta, among other great masters.
You'll hone your skills, develop your sound, and find your drum's voice amidst a drumming ensemble!

This event is in person, and there are limited spaces available. There are also a limited number of djembe drums available to rent.
