About this Event
Learn from the Master of Worming, Mindy Jaffe. She will lead you through the process of assembling your own worm kit, step by step. She will give you a lesson on vermicompost production and instruction for maintaining a productive worm bin.
The fee covers all the components of the ʻLearn to Wormʻ Kit, a basic box bin vermicomposting system. Included are a pre-drilled 10-gallon container, two bricks for elevation, plenty of cellulose bedding, a nice digital scale, custom-cut shadecloth bin blanket, and a robust 4-ounce starter colony of worms.
Workshop participants benefit immeasurably from the lively, hands-on, in-person session. We set you up for success and stay with you as you explore the fascinating, rewarding world of vermicomposting ! On-going online support and community can be found at the Oahu Worm Ohana website.
