Come catch your breath, and let us weave the day away!You will learn the basics of a rigid heddle loom. We'll explore a basic weft technique that creates a beautiful textile. This workshop is 3-hr and students will finish weaving and take home a towel or two. This process will help you get comfortable with the loom and weft process. The loom will be pre-warped and set up to a weaving width. All the vocabulary and techniques will be further explained as you move through the class. This workshop does not include a tutorial on warping the loom. You can consult your instructor on design guidance and materials. You will receive a crash course in finishing and care techniques. This is a beginner weaving workshop and no previous weaving knowledge is required.
This class will include all supplies needed.
