In this workshop, you will learn to use your overlocker and / or coverstitch and discover the basics of these valuable tools with Geraldine Sykes. If you've recently purchased a machine or are pondering the idea to enhance your dressmaking skills, this is the perfect activity for you.
Throughout the workshop, you will:
- Learn how to thread your machine correctly.
- Master adjusting tensions for various threads and fabrics.
- Explore using different fabrics in your machine.
- Practice hemming and finishing seams flawlessly.

Your machine needs to be in good working order. The tutor will not be able to fix your machine on the day if it does not work. If you have any concerns, please speak to a member of staff at Tudor Rose Patchwork as soon as possible.
