Learn to Surf with qualified instructors at Piha while summer is still around! Enjoy the beach, the sun, and the vibe!
About this Event

A great chance to learn a new skill! Come and have fun in the water with your friends, or make new friends on the day whilst surfing.

We have qualified Surfing NZ instructors with lifesaving and rescue qualifications as well. The instructors are all super friendly and experienced at helping kids surf.

Open to all rangatahi aged 8-14 years, this Learn to Surf event is a 60 Minute lesson that aims to teach the basics of surfing quickly and with plenty of fun no matter what your fitness or ability. You will also learn about water safety such as rips and surfing techniques plus of course how to catch a wave.

Lessons are held at South Piha beach. South Piha provides great conditions for beginners.

Surfboards & Wetsuits provided.

Light refreshments provided for your kids on the day, after their lesson.

TOTAL TIME: 1pm-2:30pm

MEETING LOCATION: South Piha Beach carpark, surf trailer meeting point is based end of Marine Parade, Piha.
