Learn to speedskate, fun for the whole family! From pond to podium, speedskating is a sport where all can experience the thrill of speed and the camaraderie of the skating community.
Under the coaching of Northbrook Speedskating Club, learn the basics of speed skating, such as position, straightaway, corners and starts. After learning the basics, participants will have the skills needed to join the team. All levels are welcome. Figure, hockey or speed skates can be worn, while gloves, shin guards, a neck guard and helmet are required. Ages 5 through Adult are welcome.
